Really good pictures! I was so busy walkin' and talkin, I only got a few pictures. I can't download them onto here anyway. The count I heard was 800 bikes.

Only saw a few broke down by the side of the road. We had a small group riding together of about 8 guys. On the return trip coming over the mountain on an incredibly tight, twisty road, Edwards was on the front and I was on his a$$ when we came up on a sidecar. The guy must have had a brick in the chair, cause I didn't see a person. He was keeping a very fast pace on a full sized Bonneville (60's) and was trying to stay ahead of us.He was taking up the whole lane. We all came around a corner and were greated by a small mound of dirt which must have put the third wheel in the air. Right turn, chair on the right. He got all out of shape and went into the other lane. Nobody was coming, he didn't go over the side (long ways down), and slowly gathered it back up. Next corner a car comes zooming by the other way. Very close call. I got the hell outta there! Dave goes extremely well on that drum braked BSA. I hadn't ridden with him before and was very impressed. Plus he didn't end up leaving the road with the sidehack and was only about ten feet back.

Then that pic of you doesn't count. You should therefore post another one of yourself.

I didn't get back in time.

Actually I thought it was Elton John.

no problem, once I realized who you were (MULE t-shirt gave you away), I hung outside the huddle, you and the other person in video were in a jaw-lock, and I was happy to shutter away. I rode in on my trusty RE5, and was parked near the cluster of neat bikes near the do-nuts/signup tents.

heres my RE5, it was the black crummy one at the event. there was another clean almost new red one with about 50 miles there that day, no pic of me from that day. it was tuff getting good shots, the bright sun made for awkward shots, making all the good ones with the sun at my back, not necessarily the best side of the subject bike.

Hey now, thats far from crummy for an old ass bike! I wish I could've been at this meet...or any meet, for that matter. Its cool that big names like Edwards actually ride with normal people.
