Sorry, Walt (and Burnsie), I clicked your FB link, read it and made this link without looking at where it came from. Too good to delay. Thanks for sharing it.

Be cool if HD replaced it, wouldn't it?

That is quite amazing. Would love to see the guys face when they tell him his bike showed up.

Kind of ironic that the one bike to wash ashore from a Japanese tsunami should be a Harley.

S**t floats.

SORRY. I DO NOT MEAN THAT, I JUST COULDN'T RESIST THAT OPENING. I ALSO DENY ANY ACCUSATIONS OF USING TERMS LIKE "BOAT ANCHOR" WITH THE AFORE MENTIONED BRAND.

. . . but you know somebody was gonna say it.

Default damaged goods

After a year in seawater there is nothing useable on that bike, it is all junk. It might be useable as a yard decoration or conversation piece but but will never be a useable bike.

Hey! Hey! Hey! Don't you go talking like that.
It's a Harley. The real deal. They have the Technology.
It can be rebuilt even better than new.

All of the Japanese bikes corroded the moment they touched salt water.

In all seriousness, if there is ever a museum dedicated to the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami, this bike and the truck box should be in it.
