My brother was knocked off his trailbike by a deer in the forest.
Never saw it until it was moving away after the collision.

Saw that happen to a buddy of mine on some trails years ago. I was right behind him and saw the whole thing. The deer was leaping across the trail and it kicked off his helmet just as he rode under it. It knocked him silly and he teeter-tottered from side to side before he was able to stop.

He didn't have clue what happened, he just said it felt like someone hit him on the side of the helmet with a hammer.
