Was it the Motor Company or EPA who put Willie G. to pasture? Reason I ask is I once read a quote from him stating, "I'll never build a water cooled bike with classic styling."

Good question.. OSHA forced my dad into retirement. When they told him to tie a 6 foot ladder off he was done.

I wish Willie G. a happy retirement. Through his hard work and commitment the Harley community has been rewarded with some great machines.

Well said Geoff. The man rode a very rough and steady ride and rode places that a lesser man would of feared to ride.
I hope H-D doesn't loose its heritage by his stepping aside. I fear that it already has.
