Default Fugliest bike of 2012?

It's only March and I'd like to thank Blake Conner for already introducing us to the shoo-in winner of the hotly contested fugliest bike of 2012 category - the Victory Hard-Ball. The cover pic on the CW March issue says it all.

Although Victory claims otherwise, the only thing their crack design team did was copy a 1950s vintage Cushman Scooter.

Am I wrong?

How dare you disparage that Cushman.

LOL! The Cushmans are pretty damn cool. I apologize to Cushman owners everywhere.

Are the VMAX and BKing still being manufactured? They make the Diavel look good.

The Hardball is a lot better looking than the bike it's based on; the Vision.

The Vision still gets my vote as the ugliest bike ever, even without the advantage of the Arlen Ness graphics.

don't be cruel. The Vision 8-Ball was very cool, just like that one but lowered, no trunk and all black. I felt like Batman cruising around on it, no Joker. They even stop, go and turn corners not so bad.

I saw a trio of Victories on the Crest today: two of them Visions. I am not a cruiser dude, but I had to admit they looked great and sounded better. Then I saw a flight of HDs, some with accessory bags that filled all the pillion space and then some - enough baggage for a run to Tierra del Fuego. Impressive, but I prefer the Vision's art deco Streamliner look that's less pack-mule Gabby Hayes and more Flash Gordon.

Doesn't matter what they look like, unless you are trying to project some sort of image. How they work is the big question.
