Default Y 125 Yamaha concept bike

220 mpg. Pretty interesting little bike.

When petrol gets to be astronomically expensive in the not too distant future, this little guy is going to look better and better.

I'd ride it in a heartbeat. It looks so light, you could pick it up and bring it up the steps into your home/apartment when you get back. Looks perfect for a student.

Paint it a different color. Swap the passenger seat for a cargo platform. Price it the same as the CBR250.

I would ride that in a heartbeat.

MB5s are much cooler in the aesthetics department, but I'm sure this 125 would have at least twice the juice. I had the opportunity to ride an MB5 a few years ago, and while it was fun (10,500rpm!), I have a feeling the Yamaha would keep up with traffic much better. They'd better have a real manual on it.

Much more power than my home-built 50cc motorized bicycle and an extra 90 mpg.....not bad.

I'm with Dan here. A cargo platform and a reasonable price and I'd buy one today. I could even live with the color if necessary. I could see this thing as my daily rider.
