Default Honda CBR1000RR Feedback?

Any CBR1000RR owners have 35 words to say about their bike?

Pretty slim imo. Based on the threads and topic, I say most of the members are older and cruiser is the type of bikes that most own or ride here.

Better late than never, maybe.
2008 CBR1000rr. Compared to the previous CBRs I've owned (a '93 CBR900rr and a 2000 CBR929rr) the 2008 feels more like the 900 and a lot less like the 929.

What I like in a liter bike is pretty exemplified by the CBR1000rr. I like light weight and big midrange. Not so worried about peak horsepower, not so worried about flat out top speed. I also like the way the CBR looks the best out of all the japanese liter bikes (by a long shot). If only Honda had drilled holes in the fairing uppers and lowers like the old 900s...

I have seen that Most of the people haver talked that CBR 1000rr will be go away in the market, But I am pinch out this point that CBR is one of best bike forever and There are lot of user who are still using this bike. I have also used it, I have noticed that It indicate high capability and also stability rater than other bikes. So I like it dude.

I was beginning to think Cernicky was going to give up on the forum, just as I suspect some others at CW already have. And it pained me to think a lack of responsive Fireblade jockeys might help speed the dissolution of this forum in favor of CW's Facebook presence.

So it's good you responded!

Big Red has done a good job with the Fireblade series in making them reasonable for the street - AND quick. I've never ridden a CBR1000RR (alas), but I would be happy to own one, especially with the 'race ABS' included.

Talking Got CBR 1000RR?

Aloha! CW1Cernicky

FYI @ 69 yr old, so far I've logged 41,294 faster than the crash mi on an my 08 1000RR on the Big Island of Hawaii without a glitch.

Handles like magic...my kind of motorcycle....I ride it like my off road Mauna Kea 200 dirt bikes.

Using Honda synth oil, chg @ 6K, filter @ 12K, 7th set of Pilot tires, 2 sets F/R brake pads, original chain (my exotic lub mix) still in the factory adjst range.

My props go out to the Yamaha R1. I LOVE my 2008 R1! Best bike EVAR!

But the honda will perform just as admirably, I'm sure. I've heard some issues with the suzuki's, but nothing about the hondas. There are fewer honda riders than suzuki and yamaha riders(at least in southern cali), so you would have a "different" bike.

But who knows if you'll be back to read this.

Cheers.
