There is just something about a girl standing next to a bike. Advertisers understand it, and us it to their advantage. This perhaps is not the most provocative I've seen, but close to the funniest for sure.

It is not that long ago (yes, it is) that the astute marketing representatives for Norton-Villiers Ltd. placed mod-angelic-yet-femme-fatales in front of, beside, overlooking an otherwise unchanged bike and practically tripled sales overnight. Kawasaki followed suit but used the ranchiest grouping of ladies complete with mega-makeup, nasty sneers and rude in-your-face poses. It was more than even their well-deserved "bad" image could withstand and the skank campaign closed (albeit not too) quickly.

Since then manufacturers and after-market suppliers have tried to emulate the Norton extravaganza with mixed results, none approaching the oh-my-god-I-need-that-now phenomenon.

Yep, that is where I got it. Was not my intention to claim this is in any way an advertising photo, or that she is selling anything, just thought it is humorous. Nice looking young lady though.
