Their food is not bad, mostly the same as ours. Real Icelandic food is kind of gross but they don't even eat that anymore.
It's a nice place to visit, close by, but european-ish. Iceland's economy crashed so now is a cheap time to go. Hit the Blue Lagoon on your way into town from the airport.
