<div>im 15 and ive been riding since i was 11 and im pretty experienced on jumping and jus doing fun stuff on it. i been on a xr100 for past year and it is way 2 small for me i was thinking about gettin an 08 crf 150r but i dont know how much maintence they need,or i can get a crf230 and ride that which one should i get?</div>

<div>the 150R is a little rocketship and is a very high performance machine. As such, it will need more maintainance than the crf230. Basic oil changes and clean air filters every time you ride but you also need to keep up on the valves being adjusted and replacing the piston and rings every so often.</div><div> </div><div> The CRF230 is more of a classic four stroke in that it is in a milder state of tune and doesn't require near the maintainance the 150R does. It will die an ugly death as well though if oil changes aren't done and air filters aren't changed.</div>

If you are going to be racing motocross then get the CRF150R. If you are going to be goofing around and trail riding get the CRF230.
