Did I get in the middle of something?</div><div>Really it is a stunning bike, I just do not know how long I could actually ride it. I guess I'll wait for Eagan's riding impressions.<br></div><div></div>

<div>"Bitter Little Man" is a reference to former (?) editor and occassional contributor John Burns. You may remember his not-entirely-flattering piece on the Confederate Hellcat in the January issue. His writing style evokes a "love it or hate it" response from many CW readers.</div>

<div>John "I am become Vishnu - Destroyer of Manufacturer's Ego" Burns.</div><div> </div><div>I think he'd be a good pair with Egan on new machine/brand roll outs.</div>

<div>I am not sure there is a market for that bike.</div><div> </div><div>Plus, I have yet to be convinced a Harley air cooled VTwin engine can be functional at all in that style of machine - functional being <em>actually able to be ridden for any length of time or distance.</em></div><div> </div><div> </div><div> </div>

Why is this posted here? Looks like an American bike.<br><br>ahh, France. Took a little searching of the site to find out who and where.<br><br>I like that scrolling banner in the "production" section; "Every motorcycle, right from the prototypes has been built using genuine industrial production methods and tooling".<br><br>It's good to know that those aren't built under a shade tree in the back yard of some French Harley enthusiast.<p>Message Edited by carlo on <span class="date_text">02-17-2007</span><span class="time_text">08:15 AM</span></p>

<div>The billet kuryakyn hypercharger filter thing on the tank looks crummy to me and the right leg may get a broiling but otherwise it looks interesting.</div>

The claim they're building race bikes. That looks like a big twin motor (with some sportsterish stuff attached on either side), what class would a bike with an 80 or 96 cubic inch engine run in?

<div><img width="533" height="400" src="http://www.engmore.com/wallpapers/Wakan01.jpg"></div><div> </div><div>nice. as i have said about motocyzk and other similars, why isnt the buell like this, or the xr1200???</div><div>this type of machine should be the new sportster.</div>

<div>Still have to see how it functions, but I'd echo your sentiments, hack'.</div><div> </div><div>You posted a great view, above.</div><div> </div><div><div>The view reminds me of the Lance Weil Special.</div></div><div> </div><div>The only thing that strikes as odd to me is the intake - as noted earlier.</div><div> </div><div> </div>

<div>my guess is it was to give the riders leg a chance to tuck in where a stock hd location hinders it. also, the intake gives a kind of dragracer blower look. i like it.</div>

<div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div>agree - the intake is a very cool hotrod touch.</div><div> </div><div>This bike is what Caroll Shelby should have commissioned. Shelby is related with the Cobra more than any other Shelby project; and, the Cobra went around corners well (unlike the dragster-type bike Shelby is currently having made).</div><div> </div><div>Shoe-horn a big twin with a compact drivetrain into this bike and it would be more of the 2-wheeled Cobra than what is currently being built.</div><div> </div><div>here is the badass race version with a killer megaphone. That intake is a thing of beauty & character. The other cool touch is the gas filler cap in the tail piece. This bike has fantastic design and engineering even if you are not into big pushrod type engines. Another motorcycling marvel out of France.</div><p><span class="time_text">http://forums.cycleworld.com/attachments/cycleworld/bikes_european/841/2/Wakanmegaphone.jpg</span></p><p><span class="time_text"></span><span class="time_text">more cool big twins here: <a target="_blank" href="http://customtorque.blogspot.com/">http://customtorque.blogspot.com/</a></span></p><p><span class="time_text">http://forums.cycleworld.com/attachments/cycleworld/bikes_european/841/1/airbox.jpg</span></p><p>Message Edited by Hoyt70 on <span class="date_text">03-02-2007</span><span class="time_text">12:53 PM</span></p><p>Message Edited by Hoyt70 on <span class="date_text">03-02-2007</span><span class="time_text">01:01 PM</span></p>

<div>After looking at it in the mag yesterday its starting to grow on me, but unfortunately its <strong>way</strong> out of my means. Since it way out of my means it gets put into the rich mans toy category and I loose interest. Finding a used S4R Monster could be obtainable in a few years while the Wakan will probably never be...</div>

<div>Looks like fun to me . Will be a good read I'm sure . I bet Eagen and Burns could switch sides and you wouldn't know it , there kinda like the same guy in a different mood . Enjoy both ! Actually I'd like to know more about that Jag with the chevy V8 .</div>
