<div>Hey, Kiddies, I haven't been here much lately; I cancelled my home phone and internet service and finally broke down and got a pay-as-you-go cellular. As little as I use the phone, I should save about $50 - $60 a month (a big deal at present).</div><div> </div><div>Without the internet to distract me and with some help and encouragement from friends, I've been able to refine my camera mount (my secret for my youtube videos). I've begun production and it is now ready to sell. It will fit most full-face helmets and most digital cameras. And I've priced it much cheaper than a dedicated helmet-cam or most mounts!</div><div> </div><div>See it on my website. Buy it. Record your favorite rides.</div><div> </div><div>Now I'm working on one for you claustrophobes who don't wear full-face buckets, so stay tuned!</div><div> </div><div>I've missed y'all.</div>

<div>No comments? Okay, update time: I gave one to Dave Edwards to check out and he loaned me a trashed helmet from the CW garage to drop-test the mount with (what a nice guy!). Tomorrow Cletus and I will take the cameras, etc to a local bridge and post the results. Hopefully the drop-test will not result in the pain or humiliation that the pistol test provided.</div>

<div>Cool! Now drop something else! Like flour or melons or stuff! :D :p</div><div> </div><div>Is CW going to give you a mini review based on their test? Even online only, should reach a good audience.</div>

<div>Don't know that they're actually going to &quot;test&quot; it ... hearing that they got to try it out would make me a happy camper.</div>

<div>Fid- this will change motorcycling as we know it! How could that first guy who attached wagon wheels to an old lawn mower motor ever have envisioned such a technological leap! Where will the VHS tapes mount?</div>

<div>Hello again, BTW. Hope all is well, maybe even better than well.</div>

<div>I thought of buying one of those helmet mounts, but I don't think You Tube visitors would enjoy watching hours and hours of my closet wall. ;)</div>

<div>Never know. Have you seen most of the garbage on TV? It makes watching the dryer at Tiny Bubbles LaundraMat look good.</div>

<div></div><div>Hey Hack... Go and get a gallon of Home Defense from WallMart... Spray your foundation every 2-4 weeks... No more carpenter ants... They will be most active around your foundation about dark...</div><div> </div><div>There are several places in this country where cost of living is cheap-cheap-cheap... We have had several Penneys managers retire here in SE Nebraska because they get the same retirement check here as they would in NY city.... Arkansas is retirement friendly also.. I hear.</div><p>Message Edited by VStarMan on <span class="date_text">03-26-2007</span><span class="time_text">08:43 AM</span></p>

I'll be going up to Pleasanton in about a week ... planning to spend all my time with the daughter, tho, so probably won't have time for Forum guys.</div>

<div></div><div>Okay, guys, the mounts are beginning to sell (yay!). You know you want one, so get yours early in the season. You probably have a digital camera, so don't throw your money away on a dedicated bike or helmet cam or more expensive mount.</div><div> </div><div>I hope you're all well and happy and stay that way.</div><br><br>Message Edited by Fid_Hawser on <span class="date_text">05-02-2007</span> <span class="time_text">12:59 PM</span>
