I'm look for a full face helmet. Are there any particular models that may be made larger than others? I've tried on a XXL of the scorpion exo 400 and thought that was really tight. I think helmets should be snug but not to wear you feel your head pulsating. Any suggestions to the big headed people of the world?
My, what a big noggin you have! All joking aside, the Cycle World International Motorcycle Shows (www.motorcycleshows.com) are a great place to samply many brands of helmets, not to mention other types of riding gear. Some manufacturers even have representatives present who will measure your melon to determine the proper size. If you're in a rush, contact the dealers in your area for sizing options.

My father-in-law has a extermely large head and hasa difficult time finding helmets to fit. He found a XXXL HJC flip-face that he liked and fit him fairly well. He likes the flip-face helmets he is also claustrophobic and that helps.
Hope this helps
The Scorpion was probably tight because out of the box the cheekpads are way too tight for most people. If memory serves (it rarely does) there are four options for cheek pad thickness. You'd think cheekpads would only feel tight on your cheeks, but I had headaches before I adjusted mine (and nice red marks above my cheekbones).

That said, Scorpions do run small IMO and you might want to check out AGV, Shoei, and HJC, which seem more big-head friendly.
