<div>Can anyone help me please! I have a 2001 gsxr1000 with galifer steel brake lines and racing brake pads but stock brake calibers. I keep get a pulsing feel from the front brakes and not the rear. If I bleed the brakes the pulsing going away for a short time but then comes back. I have tried all new fluid and replacing the front rotors but nothing has helped. Please help. </div>

<div></div><div></div><div> Hello!!</div><div> Sounds like you either have warped front brake rotors or the rotors have moved on their hub carriers.</div><div> Try this: Raise the front of the bike. Using a crayon or tire marker, position the tip at a 90-degree angle to the rotor so that it just touches the surface in the pad contact area. Spin the front wheel and hold the marker steady. You should be marking a steady line if the rotor is true. This procedure is in lieu of using a dial indicator clamped to the front caliper bosses.</div><div> Normal spec on most rotors is .004&quot; or less.</div><div> I had a similiar situation on a GSXR600 when the owner replaced his front tire. He had knocked the front rotor and it had moved in one spot on its hub mounts. Carefull application of a plastic mallet and remeasuring took care of it.</div><div> Terry</div><p>Message Edited by ZRX4ME on <span class="date_text">02-04-2007</span><span class="time_text">04:30 PM</span></p><p>Message Edited by ZRX4ME on <span class="date_text">02-04-2007</span><span class="time_text">08:35 PM</span></p>

<div>Assuming you don't have ABS, my first guess would be a warped rotor.</div>
